SECURITY  CHECKPOINTS

You may need to go through security checkpoints even if you have a connecting flight. It will depend on your country of provenance and the conditions of your connection.

When do I need to go through security checkpoints?

Unless otherwise stated, you will not need to go through security checkpoints if your previous flight is arriving from one of the below countries:

  • Country in the Schengen area,
  • Canada,
  • The United States,
  • Ireland,
  • United Kingdom.

If you are arriving from a different country, you will need to comply with security checkpoint requirements.

Special cases No matter your country of provenance, you will need to go through security checkpoints if:

  • you are changing airports,
  • you are arriving by train,
  • you are traveling with an animal in the hold
  • you have exited the transit zone
